In Latin, CARMEA means song, tune, poem or incantation. Only after choosing the name Carmea – a combination of each band member’s first and last initials – did they discover the Latin roots of the word.
Carmea can be found just easily singing songs of peace and social justice at protest rallies and on courthouse steps as in concert venues. They believe in the power of song to inspire positive change in our world.
