ASK + ME + House = PRESENTS

Hi, I’m Mary Elaine Kiener, the “ME” in ASK ME House.

What would YOU do if your house told you it wanted a job of its own?

That’s the dilemma I faced awhile ago.

To make a long story short (you can read more here), I invited the house to let me know what it wanted to do. So it did.

And together, we came up with the idea of ASK + ME + House = PRESENTS.

As in giving gifts of people and events that bring us all together in this wonderfully inviting atmosphere. Sometimes, it’s a simple dinner or opportunities for conversation. Other times, the house gets all gussied up for an outside group to come and utilize the space. Or, we might host a workshop or book-signing event. One of the most special gifts we offer, though, is a House Concert.

With my busy schedule, the house and I try to do “something” once a month or so–which may or may not be open to the public. Please, take a look around, and see if something catches your eye (or tugs at your heartstrings!).
